Privacy Policy

Last updated · June 18, 2026

This policy explains how Continuity Systems (“Verity”, “we”) handles information when you use our website and product. It is written to be readable; it is not a substitute for the contractual data agreements we sign with care organizations.

Overview

We collect the minimum information needed to provide Verity, support our customers, and meet our legal and security obligations. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use health information to train models outside the bounds of our customer agreements.

What we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, this may include:

  • Contact details you provide when requesting access or contacting us.
  • Account & usage data generated as authorized users operate the product.
  • Care records processed on behalf of a customer organization, handled under their direction.

How we use it

To provide and improve the product, respond to requests, maintain security and audit trails, and comply with applicable law. Processing of care records is governed by our agreement with the relevant organization, who remains the custodian of that information.

Health information

Where Verity processes personal health information, we expect to operate as a service provider to the care organization and validate handling against applicable health-privacy legislation, including PHIPA in Ontario and PIPEDA federally. Access should be restricted, logged, and limited to what is required to deliver the service.

Sharing

We share information only with vetted subprocessors that help us operate the service, where required by law, or with your direction. Subprocessors are bound by confidentiality and data-protection terms consistent with this policy.

Retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations, then delete or de-identify it. Customer organizations control retention of their care records under their agreement with us.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. For care records, requests are directed to the custodian organization, which we support.
